Braslovče : Nova KBM - 0:3
Local women have a match against an experienced team of Nova KBM Branik started over in a spasm and excessive respect, that they could achieve anything more. In the opening set, it was already clear that the guests arrived in Braslovče with a lot of desire to win. They didn’t forget the match in the quarterfinals last year, when they were defeated by the local women, but because of the golden series they won in the end.
Our coach Andrej Hribernik received an offer to attend a volleyball tournament on the 6th and 7th September in Italy. The whole nation was hosting tournaments to promote the upcoming Women’s World Championship. The tournament was attended by ŽOK Braslovče’s 3rd league team led by Andrej Hribernik.
We started our weekend trip quite early, at 5.30 am. I think it’s normal, that there isn’t any teem spirit or enthusiasm at 6 am. I know that everybody needed a little more sleep. After two short hours of travelling, everybody was wide-awake and more or less ready for our first of three matches.
August has came and with it the long-awaited training for the first team ŽOK Braslovče. Training is carried out twice a day, only with the exception of morning training on Saturdays. Every other day, a morning training is provided outside on the lawn, where we take care of our physical preparation and injury prevention. Exercises for prevention is carried out under the watchful eye of physiotherapist Tina Zupančič. Trainings in the gym are designed to improve technique with help of Zoran Jerončič and his asistant Damjana Mihalinec. Our physical preparation and tranings are prepaired by Žan Ocvirk.

We could say, it's tradition, that the devilish girls from Braslovče accomplish to get to final tournament in every individual category. This year was great success in all categories from mini volleyball to oldest and best members of the club. Last thing that would make our year even better is winning this great trophy for first place in category of female cadets.
