Po začetnih menjavah točk so pobudo v prvem nizu prevzele domačinke in povedle 5 : 2. Prednost so, predvsem na račun preudarnih zaključnih udarcev in varanja Nine Đukič, ohranile in večale vse do 11 : 6, ko je gostujoči trener Samo Miklavc posegel po odmoru.

Prvi niz se je pričel z obojestranskim izmenjavanjem točk. Domače so si v nadaljevanju ustvarile prednost treh točk pri izidu 17:14 in 20:17. The 29-year-old Iranian attacker arrived in the northeast Bulgarian city of Shumen on January 9 and is already training with the local team, which currently rates sixth in the national female volleyball league.

Coach Bernardo Rezende Retires From National Team
After 16 years coaching the men’s the national team, Coach Bernardinho Rezende finally decided to retire.
The 57 year old made the announcement yesterday during a press conference arranged by the Brazilian Federation (CBV). His successor is Renan Dal Zotto. However, he will remain as the coach of Brazilian women’s club team, Unilever.
